What Is Your Life Path Number?
To get to the root number which will describe your life path, you need to reduce your birth date down to a single digit (unless it reduces down to 11 or 22)
Firstly, we do this by reducing the day, month and year that you were born.
So 12th December 1991 would become…
Day (12) ➳ 1 + 2 = 3
Month (12) ➳ 1 + 2 = 3
Year (1991) ➳ 1 + 9 + 9 + 1 = 20
then 2 + 0 = 2
Then we do the same with the Day, Month & Year added together…
Day + Month + Year = Life Path Number
3 + 3 + 2 = 8
So the Life Path Number for someone born on 12/12/1991 would be 8
Once you’ve broken down your birth date, scroll down for its meaning in numerology!

They are bold, independent, and will thrive in scenarios where they can demonstrate their skills of leadership and innovation (eg, entrepreneurship). Life path number 1’s march to the beat of their own drum, and so their lesson in life is to balance the pursuit of their own goals with an understanding that other people have their own needs, goals and desires too. If number 1’s can be respectful of what other people want, they’ll achieve more in the long run because they’ll have the support of a loyal team around them to amplify their solo efforts. Cooperation isn’t a quality that comes naturally to people with this life path number, but when they can combine it with their own fierce potential — they’re in a strong position to blaze new trails.

Those born with life path number 2 bring the world compassion and balance through their diplomatic tendencies. They hope for peace in all situations and treasure their close personal relationships. They are generous souls who love to be in nature and gain personal satisfaction from developing other people; if other people are in balance, then it helps them to feel balanced too. Famous life path number 2’s include Jennifer Aniston, Emma Watson, Gwenyth Paltrow, Tony Blair
People with life path number 3 are here to entertain. They add vibrant colour to the world with their quirky personality, and inspiration naturally flows through them. As a result, people love to watch 3’s in action and they may find themselves performing on stage from a young age. They long to express themselves creatively and want to shine in whatever situation they find themselves in — from the office floor to the dance floor! Unsurprisingly, Hollywood is full of life path number 3’s. They are perfect candidates for the spotlight as they have been blessed with inbuilt confidence and enjoy being the centre of attention. Their main learning curve will be to integrate their fun and creative persona with the mundane aspects of everyday life.
Famous life path number 3’s include Kendrick Lamar, Reese Witherspoon, Kevin Spacey, John Travolta, Liam Neeson
The most disciplined of the bunch, people with life path number 4 crave stability across all areas of their life. This means that they’re averse to taking risks and could be viewed as headstrong by others because they will resist taking shortcuts or trying new things. These traits of focus and persistence can mean that they’re incredibly powerful workhorses though. Once they have found a purpose or technique that works for them, they have the opportunity to be incredibly diligent as they move towards their goals — while being able to sidestep distractions. Their main lesson in this life is to be more flexible so that they can learn from the experiences that change can offer them.
Famous life path number 4’s include Oprah Winfrey, Frank Sinatra, Arnold Schwartzenegger
The 5’s are the free spirits of the group, craving freedom and a constant flow of new experiences. They instinctively need variety and will quickly feel stifled and stagnant if they’ve been confined for too long; they prefer to feel as though they’re expanding and experiencing change on a regular basis. Other people might describe them as ‘the life and soul of the party’ because they love to meet new people as another type of exploration. Their free and breezy nature may also make them prone to struggle with timekeeping! Their challenge in this lifetime will be to honour their commitments, while finding freedom rather than restriction in the things that they need to show up for.

You may find yourself inexplicably drawn to people who are born under life path number 6 because they’re naturally charismatic and charming, without being overbearing. They bring harmony into situations and are able to balance all areas of their life with a natural ease that’s unfamiliar to most people. “How does she do it?” is what other people might think to themselves when they’re with a life path number 6. By nature they are nurturing and kind, and invest themselves heavily into their family and friendships; as a result, their lesson in this lifetime is to cope with betrayal from other people who aren’t as invested as they are. This can be a painful lesson to learn, but 6’s are more than happy to make small sacrifices for the benefit of others and can expect to have a lifetime full of positive relationships.
Famous life path number 6’s include Jessica Alba, Victoria Beckham, Justin Timberlake, Thomas Edison, Sarah Michelle Geller
People with life path number 7 are on a quest to acquire knowledge, and so may find themselves in careers that require extensive studying such as a lawyer, scientist or architect. This attraction to study also means that they’re likely to feel great comfort and contentment in solitude, as it gives them the chance to focus their attention on studying solutions to life’s great problems. They can often be found in their own head, where they’re busy analysing things and seeking deeper understanding of the physical or spiritual realms. Due to these tendencies, their lesson in this lifetime is to open themselves up to relationships more easily and allow other people into their world. Other people can be an amazing untapped resource of education for 7’s, both in an emotional sense and through sharing new ideas.
Famous life path number 7’s include Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Marilyn Monroe, Christian Bale
The 8’s are the born money makers of the group! They are inherently driven, ambitious and sit comfortably in positions of authority — all of which make them prime candidates to bring home the big bucks. They are resilient and confident, and so would not shy away from a confrontation like some of the other numbers. They’d much rather be in a position of authority themselves than be under someone else’s authority, and may therefore be thought of as rule breakers or trouble makers; particularly in their youth. Whatever career they choose to be in, it’s likely that they’ll do the job well and quickly earn the respect of their colleagues. Their life lesson will be to balance their pursuit of material success with the areas of their life which require a more subtle emotional approach — such as love relationships.
Famous life path number 8’s include Neil Armstrong, Giorgio Armani, Naomi Campbell, Bjork, Penelope Cruz
People with life path number 9 are likely to turn towards a spiritual journey at some point in this lifetime. They are idealistic and compassionate, and other people will say that they have a utopian view of the world. As a result, they’ll feel called to pursue work with meaning that contributes to a cause greater than themselves. They can see the big picture and are unlikely to focus on the small differences between people. This egalitarian outlook will make them a master at bringing people together, regardless of social biases. They are imaginative, creative and will endeavour to make the world a more beautiful place; not only for their own life — but for everyone else too. Their lesson in this lifetime is to avoid being tempted into anything which doesn’t allow them to express their humanitarian nature, as they’ll quickly find it unfulfilling.
Famous life path number 9’s include Mother Theresa, Jim Carrey, Morgan Freeman
People born under life path number 11 are gifted healers and will often ride a rollercoaster of life experiences early on to equip them with the empathy and understanding that they’ll need to heal others. Spiritual interests will feel fascinating to people with this life path, and 11 is often called “the number of the psychic”. People would think of them as mystical, intuitive, sensitive and philosophical — as well as creative and visionary. Their lesson in this lifetime is to overcome the fear and doubt that their sensitive nature will bring up in them, in order to trust that their intuition will guide them to the ways they can offer healing and enlightenment to the world.

They’re likely to feel deep within that they have a big purpose in the world, and on the surface — they have the practical sense and diligence to fulfil their vision for reshaping the world. They will know that they’re different to most people, but the master builder quality means that they can balance this huge potential with the realities and restraints of the physical world too. Their lesson in life will be to achieve their huge potential without being overbearing or dictatorial to other people while they implement their strategy for success.
Famous life path 22’s include Bill Gates, Sir Richard Branson, Paul McCartney, Margaret Thatcher
